Halow

Halow – Live a life of purpose

Halow equips young adults with learning disabilities and autism to live a life of purpose. Every year they support over 250 young adults in Surrey, helping improve their lives for good. Learning new skills, becoming more independent and leading them to live the life they’ve always wanted.

IICF’s 2024 grant allowed Halow Project to deliver Travel Training, which is part of their Building Futures programme. This programme helps Halow’s young adults learn to use public transport. Learning to plan a route and use the train or bus as independently as possible is a long-term goal for all.

Since joining the programme, 92% of young people feel more confident and 86% feel more positive about getting employment in the future.
