IICF Celebrates 10 Years in the UK

This year marks the IICF’s 10th anniversary in the UK and we’re proud of all that we’ve achieved together with our corporate and charity partners, volunteers and supporters over the past ten years. Since 2015, we’ve convened hundreds of industry leaders at volunteering and fundraising events and have helped to change the lives of more than 8,000 people nationwide through our community grants programme focused on social mobility.
For IICF, social mobility is about unlocking potential and creating access to opportunities to equip less advantaged young people with the skills and confidence needed to achieve their full potential. As part of our 10th anniversary in order to continue our work to improve social mobility, we are planning a year-long campaign ‘Celebrating Diverse Pathways into Insurance’. In the coming months, we will share stories from ten leaders who exemplify diversity within our industry. While each story is different, all touch on common themes of resilience, courage and connection. Look out for this monthly series on our website and our LinkedIn channel. We hope these stories inspire you to pay it forward and help change a young person’s future, perhaps as a mentor or volunteer with an IICF charity partner.

Did you know 1 in 4 children leave primary school unable to read well and that almost 1 million children in the UK don’t have a single book at home?* (*Source: National Literacy Trust) We’re working to change this. In 2025, IICF aims to raise £100K to close the literacy gap for children facing disadvantage. We invite you to help create better futures for children from deprived communities by raising funds for projects that help them gain the literacy skills and confidence they need to succeed in school and in life.
Whether you choose to fundraise with colleagues, do your own fundraising, help spread the word or ask for match funding, your contribution will help us create better futures.
