IICF Month of Giving

Do something amazing this Autumn.

Each October, hundreds of insurance professionals across the UK come together to volunteer and make a positive impact in their communities.

Be part of an industry-wide volunteering initiative that helps employees find purpose, strengthens local communities and supports positive social impact. Throughout October 2026, IICF’s Month of Giving will offer a variety of opportunities for individuals and teams to get involved.

Whether you can spare a few hours or a full day, there’s something for everyone. You could:

• Organise a food, clothing or essentials drive for local charities and community organisations.
• Support conservation projects and outdoor volunteering activities in local parks and green spaces.
• Spend a day helping at a city farm, assisting with gardening, maintenance and animal care.
• Pack toy boxes and donations for children and families experiencing hardship.
• Donate surplus IT equipment to help bridge the digital divide for young people.
• Mentor young people, share career insights or support employability and skills workshops.
• Volunteer virtually by tutoring students or helping with educational mentoring programmes.
• Join colleagues from across the insurance industry on organised volunteer projects throughout the month.

Month of Giving forms part of IICF’s international commitment to community engagement, bringing together insurance professionals on both sides of the Atlantic in a shared effort to support communities and create lasting impact.

Volunteer individually, as a team, or alongside professionals from across the industry. New projects and opportunities will be added throughout the summer and early autumn.
