Dive In Festival

24 September 2024, 14:00–15:30

Join IICF UK, Lloyds and The Clear Company at Dive In for an interactive session on Embracing Inclusivity – A Journey to Disability Confidence

This session features keynote remarks and discussions on two important topics:

  • Disability Confident Practices: The Next Chapter
  • Spotlight on Talent with Sight Loss

This will be a hybrid event to increase accessibility and to give those able to join in person at Gallagher’s office an opportunity to network and informally ask questions and share your experience with our speakers. To register for this event on 24 September and to explore others taking place across 50 countries, visit: diveinfestival.com and select the Virtual or In-person event.

About the Session

Did you know that the disability employment gap is a shocking 48%?* Or that more than two million people in the UK are living with sight loss*, with only 1 in 4 blind and partially sighted people of working age in employment?+  However, it doesn’t have to be this way – by raising awareness and engagement we can help overcome these barriers and develop career pathways in the insurance industry to give people with sight loss the independence and meaning that employment brings.
